>>9443337They are located in various timezones, which makes spontaneous collabs more difficuilt because you always have to arrange pretty far in advance so that it fits everyones schedules.
Also most of them are varying degrees of introverts/passives/wet blankets, and probably (still) carry too much of a "I d-don't want to impose / s-she needs to ask me first" mentality.
And they all have their own side projects / behind the scenes extra work going on as well, which further keeps them busy.
Now, I don't disagree that I want to see more collabs, those are (usually) fun, or even just spontaneously hopping into each others streams for a while. I think a big part of their problem seems to be that they have an aversion to doing any non-gaming collab instead of just doing a simple talking/variety collab. So they always reach for the "crutch" of a having game (and no game means no collab) to play together because they probably think "well what else could we do, just talk to each other? that'd be lame/crazy!?". They are not that confident in their talking skills, so they always have to be in the setting of the game activity (thinking it has the benefit of "well, if we can't think of anything to talk about, we can just focus on the game to fill the air" - which, more often then not, leads to just having lame gamplay-related talk and no actual conversation).
Which is regrettably the wrong way to go about, their best collab moments all come when they just talk naturally to each other and ignore the game. For example, the last Ame/Kiara collab had three hours of boring puzzle gameplay and only became 10/10 for the last ten minutes or so when they finished the game and just shot the breeze.
I had high hopes for Ame's "fishtank" show, which could've been a place for more/regular "just talking" type of collabs between the ENs, but apparently that's also been a blip (for now).
