Not a big deal at first but I can imagine it becoming a Nimi Nightmare.
Our media is actively hostile so I'm not sure how an outside person especially from Japan is supposed to pick up on things but for the viewers...wasn't it obvious Nimi was white? When a white man hears a white woman you're kind of automatically put into the coze zone. I'm not sure if it's the tone or pronunciation but it puts your guard down a little. As opposed to an Asian speaking your language where their English usually has sharper consonants and they'll use slang as if it's a proper word.
It always felt obvious to me. Like how if you speak in Japanese to a Japanese streamer they sniff you out real quick no matter what you do.
