I think Kiara anti shit has just gotten so silly and under fuelled it struggles to go anywhere. Like there aren't early Kiara stream problems, and roommate rrats don't stack up to actual boyfriend and mental breakdown holidays. Even the purely made up shit doesn't stack next to accidentally showing you saved a gen mate's dox.

If she was a kraut I'd be certain she was in a real concentration camp and has seen the photos and read the reports because that's part of our curiculum but I'm not sure if the same is true for Austrians as well.
Especially since she went to an art school and fucked off to Japan at a very young age.
Phoenixtonians have a lot more freedom and luxury than even most prisoners so it's still pretty far from a concentration camp.
IRyS' breeding project made it a bit more distopian again but her beds weren't even stacked.

I've been a vocal "complaining about her audio settings"-fag in the past, but lately... either I'm already being completely mindbroken by her, or she did really improve her settings a bit. Mind you, it's not completely perfect and probably never will be, but at least I feel the worst is gone and the edge of the harshness/clicking/popping/fry/whatever has been taken off a bit. I don't know what she did (reduce gain, lay off the compression, increase mic distance, use pop filter, etc...) but it's working.

Has she mentioned on streams lately that she has been tuning her audio setup, or am I imagining things?

I'm more excited by the teased potential of a voice call. I get Kiara's apprehension, doing a full multi-hour collab with voices right at the start would be overkill and too much unnecessary yab potential (mama forgetting kayfabe and dropping RL names, etc.), but she didn't seem totally against ANY kind of voice interaction, she just needs to think it over and figure out the right setting. Probably starting with a short prerecorded message at first, something you can plan out and screen beforehand, to ease themselves in, after that maybe a live call limited to 5-10 minutes (long enough to get some conversation flowing and not just "okthxbye", but not too long that it overstays its welcome or an aforementioned yab happens).

As for Diablo 2, sure that could be fun with Mama, but if she's not on voice throughout the playthrough and only text chatting occasionally (which works better in a more relaxed game like minecraft in the first place), I'd rather she do a coop stream with another Holo that she can actually really talk to live.

I think I just figured out why Kiara insists on keeping the chicken voice. Around 3h10m into the most recent mamatori stream she did a "wide kiara" voice, and I noticed she sounded foreign/ESL as fuck. Maybe she has noticed her accent is harder to hear when she's high pitched and is too self conscious to go natural.

They will probably play the entire thing together but Mamatori will have several off-stream characters.
I'm not sure how much sufferkino potential there really is in an RPG even and action RPG. Never forget the Ryza 1 final boss where she was undergeared, underleveled and underprepared and still got him on the 2nd try.
And besides her gaming skills flaring up in RPGs you can usually do more preperations when something is too hard.
We still get sufferkino in stuff like the recent UFO stream, dexterity based games with nothing to improve your character's stats.

I hope so as well but the chances are slim.
She has to do some stuff with her family apparently since she talked about seeing her brother and giving her mom a mic as she will meet them anyways. And I think she mentioned not even being in Austria today which is curious.
Towards the end of the MC stream she was hoping to be able to finish that business quickly so she can do something for Hololive she still has to prepare.
And next week will also be super busy apparently.

Honestly I am starting to get worried. She has been talking about being too busy for several weeks now.
She has gotten stronger and has her cats but I still remember her starting to crack and crumble around Christmas and New Years because of overwork...

Now Kiara dropped out of school early and directly went abroad to Japan when other teens would still spend 5-10 years with their parents.
Basically this, combined with a long hours job, means that Kiara is on her last, 2-5 percent of lifetime with her parents.
TLDR every minute of mamatori time is hyper valuable

Was reading a bait thread about Kiara not including Mumei in Holobird, and it got me thinking, is Mumei actually suppose to be an owl that somehow signifies civilization? The only thing about her model that suggests she is a bird is she has feathers on her head, but that could either mean bird or she just puts feathers in her hair. I don't remember much from her debut, but did she actually confirm if she is an owl or not?

I think Reine was a bit hurt when Kiara went all "You all call me chicken!" in the Gartic Phone collab and included her in that.
She sounded somewhat sad for her standards when correcting Kiara. Kiara then vowed to not call her turkey and re-inforced that today, making sure to give her kouhai proper space in her mind.
When the Minecraft servers are finally connected I hope Kiara will run into Reine more often.
My hopes are she has more contact with Watame, Reine and Nene in that order.

Cover's mismanagement is kinda sad and funny at the same time. They have four talents in HoloEN, who released their original music with great to unbelievable success. At least two of them are highly motivated to do more music and... Cover doesn't support them.

Instead they hire a VSinger. There is a lot of hype around her, she gets 300k subs during her debut, but... only a few people care about her music (her 2nd original song sits at 120k views after four days).

Then Cover announces HoloCouncil. After IRyS getting 300k subs at her debut the hype will be spectacular for a whole generation right?! Not really... only one member of the whole gen reached 300k subs after three weeks...

Irys issue is that a vsinger comes with more strings attach. She doesn't get to control what songs get put out, which is why they are so bland. More help from cover = less freedom

I always just leave her jrpg streams as background noise while I'm doing other things, working, driving etc. I 'watched' all of her jrpg streams but I remember barely anything that happened in the games, just funny bits she added, her voice overs and tangents.

Its not that EN2 is weak, the market is simply more crowded now, EN1 had the entire market all to itself essentially, now there's people all over the place.

You can try an get a head start on her depending how much time you can sink into playing it. Her first stream is the last sponsored stream which I think has a requirement of her playing for 2 hours, and IIRC she said she was just gonna do those 2 hours and prolly do SCs or something, so between then and her next stream, you could get a good buffer.

I think for the JPs they'll let them schedule time in Cover's studio, or perhaps they might go to whatever producer they're working with's studio, but for EN they definitely just record at home. They'd probably get significantly better results if they actually could go to a studio and get producer feedback and professionally set up equipment.

Same. They had their 'characters' built and were kinda locked in to them. I mentioned it earlier, but I honestly don't know if I would have liked/watched debut Kiara. VoD watching is fascinating because I know where she goes, but her slightly meek and horribly self-doubting self from back then probably would have really turned me off. First MK8 stream was the first time it seems she really started to get into 'character' and started having some confidence in her ability to entertain and despite the depression during the moving arc, she still kept the enthusiasm to some degree.
The saviourfagging feeling is strong watching those VoD's though and it feels real good to know that people were in her corner and didn't leave once she found footing and her 'style' changed.

To the Anon who asked the question last thread, Diablo 2 can be sufferkino. I can just imagine Kiara getting to Duriel (second act boss) and dying over and over while forgetting to open a portal while in his lair meaning she'll have to do a 2 minute walk to her body every time just to get slapped again by him. The game is also pretty rough if you're not following a build guide, but I think if she's listening to chat a lot or Mamatori is actually there for it all, she'll be fine. Still going to be a ton of moments where she gets hit to low health and panics (like she always does) resulting in her needing to run back to her body instead of just popping a up a portal before dying.
t. I have 10's of thousands of hours in the game over it's 20 year lifespan along with having bought the game three separate times due to losing keys.

If you mean an original, it's anyone's guess and a question of whether she's looking beyond Gojou/KIRA as producers.
She did hint at something for Halloween at the latest con panel, which I'm guessing is a cover. My bet would be a Vampire cover given how she RT Mel's cover and the timing, not that the prospect of that song particularly excites me unless the MV overachieves again.
