Nimi’s situation is very different to kson’s. How? Nimi thrives on her own and is a minimal streamer. Kson was at her best with big events and lots of people to vibe with. She left Hololive thinking she was hot shit and could continue dominating the vtuber space, only to find out she was basically alone and had no pull just playing games and chatting like Nimi. It’s why Kson joined Vshojo; she needs people to be successful but by that point she was already dead and irrelevant. Nimi’s indie success is probably an anomaly that could only be repeated by someone like Gura. Nimi unironically made the riskiest yet best decision of her life going indie for she knows what her strengths are.

It’s ridiculous to compare her to Dooby, Doki and Kson for they can’t thrive on their own without gimmicks and events.

You unicorn baiting dramafags are going to turn on her like you did Shiori when she ends up NOT doing that. Nothing about her streams has changed in the slightest, she was always a solo powerhouse so "kino collabs" are probably going to be rare in the first place and the people she is reaching out to are cute girls as expected.
I'm glad she is doing well and predict 2025 will be full of Fauna core streams with barely any collabs in the first place and the starving dramafags will be clutching onto that art commission like they did with Shiori's disclaimer until the end of time.

Using Shiori as an example is brave considering she’s been increasingly distancing herself from her fans and replying to the homos on twitter often. It was a slow burn rrat but once a woman shows a mask-off moment, it’s usually true. I imagine Nimi will eventually collab with males but it won’t affect her in the slightest. Most of the money she was going to make as an indie she’s already made and that’s on top of Fauna money, remember. She’s free to do whatever and no one can stop her.
