>>94618063I'll admit I was a Sanalite for 3 months as I thought at the time "Cool, another big name artist with a past I know and can follow to have some fun inspiration." Imagine my disappointment when she used her art skills legitimately twice, one of them for an emote stream, and the rest of the time, she's doing shitposts like drawing wacky creatures with Fauna and Mumei and who could forget Neighbula. I get not wanting to burn out on art because she had gacha art that was the bigger draw, but still. And apologies bringing numberfaggotry into this, but you are right in the reactions being forced. You'd think if people did care, people would have watched her more, but the gap between videos with more than 100k view is not much higher than those under it (52 vs 43).
I'm sure it was one part the model not meshing with the rest of Council, but I think it was her attitude because I never got the sense she appreciated her position there. Why else would she invest time to think the best thing she could do is send her boss that shitpost horse? Also didn't help that Council at this time was pushed to do "themed" streams around their character, and Sana ran out of things to do with that, she never even finished her horoscopes and you can only find one stream of that on her channel now. Even her gaming content wasn't that good, hope you enjoy nonstop Kirby and Pokemon.
Writing was on the wall for me that she was whenever it was she mentioned that she had severe back issues from drawing gacha (might have been before the Neighbula garbage) because even with COVID at the time, I knew there were expectation that talents are going to need to dance at some point. And Sana clearly wasn't into idol culture and had that back issue, but made it funny when people pikachushock.jpg that the girl that was obviously not going to be an idol graduated. I guess it was a wake-up call because she learned she hated streaming altogether, she doesn't do art streams anymore, you see either Arknight pulls or the sudden burst of Sonic to appreciate Shadow's edge. Kind of a fascinating spectacle to watch unfold, I'm glad Kronii and her were able to bond, but it sure didn't reflect in her making content I enjoy. In all honesty, I feel the worst about Ina, she wanted to be with her friend, Sana learns about the idol business and homework and hates it so much, she barely streams personally anymore. One of the biggest detrimental effects of a nepohire I've seen.
TL;DR I write this to say how I personally feel Sana had more of a shitshow going on, but find amusement in how Saplings are more in uproar about their oshi than I ever did with Sanalites. Maybe because Sana truly did completely dipped outside from trying to pull her drawn characters in gacha. Fauna merch stuff is admittedly whack, but that's for another post.
