Your gut flora has too much control over your brain and it will, without fail, convince you to eat garbage. You can't trust yourself, you need someone or some external program to force you on track. The most important thing is learning to psychologically cope with eating way less despite the food noise and your brain and body doing everything it can to convince you to eat more. Never trust yourself to make the right decision, even after you've shed the weight. You'll need to commit to some obesity plan for the rest of your life, which means you need to accept that you'll never be normal even when you do reach a normal weight (not so difficult once you see the loose skin left over - the damage you've done is permanent, you'll never be a normal skinny person). You'll be fighting the battle until you die and putting in 10x more effort than other people to achieve the same outcome.
It's still worth it.
