While holo is more like "idols', they are more like "streamers". Just typical degenerates and scumbags like any twitch streamer. They mix males and females, and some of their talents are openly dating each other.
The corp is run by a 26 year old finance-bro who got his parents money. He treats the vtubers like disposable commodities that exist for his profit. It's run very poorly with lots off nepotism and shitty business practices.
They have a core japanese fanbase that is crazy about them, mostly because they were the first and it's tradition/nostalgia to like them. But all their attempts at foreign expansion have been complete failures. Their ID, IN, KR, and EN branches all collapsed in a ball of flames with mass graduations
