>>94848241Even as a Hololive fan, I'll never understand numberfags nor staunch brand loyalists.
Every VTuber with hundreds of thousands of fans are in the first percentile of all VTubers and they think that one quartile of that 1% is in the ballpark of "disintegrating"their careers."
You have smaller time indies and those in smaller corps who would kill to have that much support. It's just entitled and wrong.
And it's even more wrong that this would be considered the "wrong" opinion amongst your peers. I got into Hololive when none of the girls had 1 million subs. Helping them along the way is probably the most rewarding thing I've done for some of my oshis.
Saddens me that the current fanbase has forgotten all about what made Hololive great in the first place; the fans and the journey to stardom. Even if there's a girl getting 999 views on average a stream, I'm sure it means a lot to them, and those 999 people will do all it takes for their brightest moment on stage. It certainly meant a lot to the girls when they were struggling with subs and views some 5 years ago, as just 5 years ago they all stood on stage together for the first time.
Thanks for reading my blog, you don't have to give me any (You)s. I just felt like venting honestly.
