In other words, the strategy of "nab the big boss and the entire thing will end" like the movies doesn't bloody work. All it does is create a power vacuum just waiting to be filled, not helped by the fact either that it also leads to cartel infighting. But its not like it automatically dissolves or ends with cartels killing each other, they just dissolve into smaller and smaller splinter groups that can ally with each other.
