>>9491875it really depends on the type of alcohol itself, but as far as pure-ish ethanol goes it tastes kinda like bitter water that causes a burning sensation when it goes down your throat
it's honestly pretty hard to describe, but it's not really something tasty, even in the sense of acquired taste and things that make it go down easier usually due so either through blending the ethanol taste with something similar but lighter (various herbal mixes), or through overwhelming/diluting it (cocktails)
also stuff that's not distilled tends not to have a super strong alcoholic aftertaste (beer, wine, mead etc.)
