>>949138101. I think FWMC and Kanata's stances on absolutely no male collabs is an incredibly unhealthy outlook to have on life, as well as the stance some fans have that the girls can interact with men as long as it's off-screen (like the people who help with music videos).
2. My rrat on why cross-gender collabs are avoided by basically everyone in Hololive is that even when Hololive and Holostars are seperated, the talents act gay/lesbian and bring up sexually charged topics and their fanbases ship them whenever a collab happens, and thus is a subconscious reason behind not collabing with men. Sure, Towa and Matsuri might feel comfortable bringing up being attracted to a fictional character and baiting people on Apex Legends with "little sister" roleplay, but most of Hololive only feels comfortable doing those kinds of things around other girls. If the collab beggars want to make progress for their cause instead of mentally writing fanfiction in their head about how a collab would play out, they should advocate for collabs where it's just VTubers talking about the game and not saying anything more mature than "damn" or "crap".
3. CCV is mostly irrelevant compared to merch sales and superchats.
4. Graduation sort of makes sense when talking about retirement as the person behind the model is just not going to use the model, but "idol meeting", "mama", and "papa" should be replaced with terms similar to "using the bathoom", "model artist", and "model rigger". It's not a HUGE problem, but I don't see why anyone would actually want this sort of obfuscation of terms.
5. "Friendship experience" or platonic versions of GFE/BFE, is an extremely untapped market. Sure, it might be still be "parasocial", but the biggest advantage it has it that it's actually POSSIBLE to "make friends" with viewers instead of cases like GentleGfASMR going "i'm married, stop sending me love confessions" while continuing to roleplay as a girlfriend. My guess to why I don't see more VTubers do this (excluding the reason of "don't play favorites with fans") is that they don't wanna be stuck with focusing on multiplayer games.
6. As an addendum to the above, "don't play favorites with fans" is stupid for three reasons. One, anyone that doesn't want favorites to be played will probably like it when THEY'RE the favorite. Two, I've "played favorites" with online friends by playing games with some of them more often than others, and no one was angry for feeling neglected. Three, having zatsudans where people do nothing but send $500 superchats constantly for attention is definitely "playing favorites". HOWEVER, I don't agree with "playing favorites" in the sense of having long conversations with random people on Twitter that might actually be an anti trying to bait the VTuber into saying something controversial.
