That forces Twitch streamers to necessarily have to lean on content that is always "renewable", always "current" and that leaves them with two options
1) reacting to "current thing" or "the funniest fails of the week" style of content
2) playing cooperative video games with other content creators
"Twitch style content" is the way it is not because of any choice but because the lack of VODs.
I truly doubt ANYONE can succeed with "YT style content" on twitch, let alone doing so while being a japanese branch in a western-style vtuber company
