Originally she was going to go pure blonde and was in the process of having her model done.
Then Doki had her new model debut, and when she watched it she realized Doki's design looked way too similar to what she was planning, so she had the designer/modeler edit it a bit to make it not pure blonde, adding the brown and white highlights.
