modern ygo is about going first, set up things on your side to prevent the other side from playing the game entirely
normally in yu gi oh you need 2-3 cards to fulfill a combo line, but the powercreep has gotten so high many decks have cards that activate their 1 effect and if it resolves the deck plays its self in a straight line, so to speak
