Basically everyone he named was cool with, but Drake got oddly butthurt and would act passive-aggressive in interviews about the subject, and would go on to sneak diss Kendrick a bunch, and Kendrick in turn would throw out his own sneak disses
This back-and-froth would periodically arise over the course of about 12~ years, until Drake finally namedropped Kendrick a diss which sparked a series of diss tracks between the two, making attacks on each other's characters
This culminated with Kendrick making a song where he insinuates that Drake and his circle of associates are pedos. And then Drake fell flat on his face because he made a response song where he thought lines such as "Well Kendrick if I was pedophile, would I be arrested already!? checkmate" and "Oh I get it, you must think I'm pedo because you must've been molested a child!" where good comebacks
And then Drake further dug his own grave by choosing to sue Kendrick's (and technically Mori's lol) label UMG for defamation, extremely ironic considering in this same beef Drake insinuated that Kendrick both beats his wife, and that one of children is actually a secret love child born from a relationship between his wife and best friend
Anyways, a bunch Drake's recent music endeavors have "flopped" by his standards, and Kendrick went on to win a bunch of Grammys and prefer at the Superb Owl
