In an ideal scenario with the 50-50 split, Biboo would get 35$ from every 100$ donated, but it's actually way worse. When you send SCs via apps on iOS devices, Apple takes 30% just because they're massive fags, so that would cut her income to around 24.5$. And then she'd pay taxes on that. This also doesn't take into account the money that's being lost due to YEN->USD conversion when Cover actually sends money to her US bank account.
According to some shitty site I've found, in Japan there are over 55% iPhone users, and in the US it's around 53%, so it's safe to say a significant portion of her income was cut short by Apple, but streamers/vtubers don't usually talk about that because they don't want to discourage phone users from sending money.
Similar thing exists on Twitch, but it also includes Android charge and they automatically adjust prices to be higher for bits/subscriptions when buying on mobile instead of hiding it like YT. Sorry for my bad English.
