I thought HoloEn2 was supposed to make NijiEN irrelevant but somehow the Fish is getting above her usual numbers(she used to struggle to hit 1k) and Elira is also streaming at the same time.

Finana's numbers are the proof that EN vtuber fans are retarded.
Pre-debut she had the most subs because everyone thought she was cunny (this happened with petra too).
Post debut all those subs turned into dead subs because she had no personality and Pomu and Elira got way more viewers than her.
Then she started saying more and more lewd shit and it got her clipped. She figured out this was the best way to get viewers and just doubled down on it.

holoEN2 is not doing as bad as people say but it shows that holeEN hype is kinda dead, people say they are doing dogshit because hololive standard are insane, a lot of the people that the EN gen 1 brought started to either lose interest in vtubers or started spreading to other vtubers, also the reason holo en avg viewers are declining for most of them, since nijiEN had a pretty standard start they are growing with people that finds them because they are interested in vtubers unlike what happened with holoEN that had a lot of people going with the trend and now they are getting the backlash from that, they are still getting new fans at a more "normal" rate but they've lost the 10/20k viewers that were just passing by and now their stats show they are declining

it's the same thing that i was saying about holo but to a much smaller degree, i'd like to see the same stats for holo en, kiara for example now gets like 5k or less if it's not an event stream, it's still not a bad number but at the start she was around 20k avg iirc

Debut month always starts high and there is a sharp fall. When you go from the second month and trace it to the last you can see a bit of growth. Though it could possibly be better. Pomu was out for half a month which will kill growth and I think Elira was having plenty of ISP problems as well. That will pretty much halt any momentum when you go from unheard of to trying to break in. NijiEN doesn't have the benefit of Holo being a more well known name in the west so haiatuses will have a bigger impact.

It's some weird logic to think going from 20k during debut week to a stable 6-12k is worse than starting at 2-3k in debut week and dropping to 1.5k.
There hasn't been a single NijiEN stream that has broken 6k yet.

Finana still gets lower viewers than Pomu when they both stream a collab, so it is mostly games, streamtimes and Pomu doing a lot of guerilla streams lately that makes Finana's CCV higher. Pomu had higher average and median viewers than Elira in both july and august, but when they streamed a collab Elira almost always had higher CCV, so it would be dumb to say Pomu was more popular than Elira. You have look at the context, Elira is still the most popular lazulight, all Finana's streams over 2.5k the last two months have been collabs where she was the only one, or one of the few, who streamed the pov, and that is not the case for Elira.

NTA, but playboard updates only every ten minutes or so, and for a endurance challenge stream like that viewers heavily spike towards the finish, so if the snapshots comes a few min before and after the peak it can be pretty off. But there is probably some site that has the accurate peak.

that's exactly what i said if try to read it i said holo it's not doing worse, what i'm saying is that holoen have a worse retention rate than nijien, it's obvious that holo is still miles ahead but as i was saying in my firs post this shows that holoen hype is drying up and they are not an insurmountable milestone anymore, they still are doing amazing but now they have numbers comparable to others if not niji they certainly are comparable to vshojo

Those seem like the normal numbers they've hit since the start. Other than collabs, they haven't really grown much on their own. Elira, Selen and maybe Pomu on occasion but they've stayed pretty stagnant in terms of viewers and even their subs have slowed down a bit. Even HoloID has some points where they spiked beyond their usual numbers but NijiEN doesn't seem to have that same kind of energy. Can't explain the reason why but it's very observable to see if you look at them for a few weeks. I guess there is a benefit to a consistent audience but that also means the pool will never be bigger than what it initially started out as.
