It's a shame this is pretty much the only hallucination in the game and they didn't do anything else with it despite setting up the whole brain damage and hallucination thing early on
would've been great if the whole game was filled with Snake being a schizo and imagining things

just make a straightforward hero-to-villain story like the trailers implied it was going to be. he slowly gets more and more corrupted by revenge and becomes a bad guy, you already have the brain damage thing too so have him go schizo
hell, there's barely any revenge plot in this game, it's literally all just Kaz. Venom goes "nah i dont care about revenge, we just have to stop him" from the start. the whole game is a weird mess
