Indie and small corpo scene is ruthless, once the fans left there's almost no motivation for them to come back again, while in big corpo like Hololive they can always leech their more popular coworkers from time to time to stay relevant.
This state of Kson is a perfect example of how indie would almost never win against corporate machinery. They may win for a time, but if we're talking about longer timeframe (>3y) corpo always wins.
