>>95702493They are (or "were" at the time) industry colleagues. They'd need to be able to share certain sensitive information with each other as part of doing business, including information they wouldn't otherwise be allowed to share with each other outside of the context of an off-collab or regular collab.
I don't buy the rrat about Mel leaking to Kotoka information about the then-upcoming Dodgers collab, and Kotoka forwarding that information to Niji EN management, and then Niji EN management setting up the "NBA" collab in four months (while they were simultaneously busy dealing with the Selen situation, preparing for Denauth's debuts, and preparing for Hex and Kunai's graduations)
I don't buy that rrat for one moment. That sort of thing would probably count as "industrial espionage," and would definitely strain business relations between Cover and Anycolor. If there was any truth to that rrat, Kotoka would have been fired before Selen was (and Selen probably would have gotten Yugo'd, just so that Niji EN wouldn't have back-to-back terminations)
