>>95791732>It's also funny that after that stream, Elira spent exactly 60 days without streamingNot only did she spend exactly 60 days without (monetized) streams on her own channel, she also spent the first 14 of those days not doing ANYTHING - no call-ins on Kyo's final streams, no tweeting, NOTHING. And everyone else in EN making no effort to acknowledge her existence in those 2 weeks, as if she'd never become a vtuber in the first place. She was very obviously suspended for 2 months, with the first two weeks being a super-suspension; there's no way it could have been more obvious, short of actually firing her at the end of those 2 months.
The black screen failed at its intended effect (to nip Doki's post-Niji career in the bud), and Elira was punished for it.
>a failure of the management and staff for allowing the fucking thing to both go up and still be up.It's gonna stay up for the foreseeable future, because taking it down would be tantamount to admitting that they fucked up in allowing it to go up in the first place. This past year-plus should be more than enough proof of how allergic EN management is to the concept of admitting ever having made mistakes.
This is also why they won't fire Luca for NDA violations or Aster for sexual harassment - firing them now means admitting they made a mistake in not firing them months or years ago.
As long as Anycolor owns the IP rights to the "Elira Pendora" character, there are only three ways that video will ever get removed from her channel:
>A court order from a court of competent jurisdiction, forcing either Youtube, Anycolor, or Elira herself to remove that video and/or her entire channel>Youtube itself deletes either the video or her entire channel, for some reason other than a court order (e.g. if Algorithm-kun arbitrarily decides that there's a TOS violation)>or if Elira graduates on sufficiently good terms to be given the option of keeping her archives up, but instead opts for the total channel nuke (because they absolutely will not give her the option of taking down the black screen but keeping the rest of her channel up)And that last one is not guaranteed to be effective in perpetuity. If her channel gets nuked at her request but she makes nice with Doki afterwards, there is an over 99.99% chance that they'll put it back up while keeping the rest of her channel stays down (basically the reverse of what they did with that one Pomu vod)
And if her departure is not on at least nominally "good" terms - if she gets "graduated" like Gundou or Yugo, or just straight up terminated - that video will survive the otherwise complete channel nuke. And it would stay up for the express purpose of hamstringing her post-Niji career.
