Actually I watched seasons 1-4 six years ago and picked it back up last month.
Actually I would watch it with my parents 15 years ago because it was very popular in our country and would air every Thursday.
It's very long (8 seasons x 23) and very schematic (did you give him the medicine drug?) but it's funny, and House's character carries it hard.
Writing quality drops off in last seasons but the ending is great.
