Appearance probably has a lot to do with it, especially if there's something specific you like about a design.
I think Mint's older model was okay but I'm not a fan of the newer lolified one. For Fauna, I think what her new real model looks like in the end might affect your opinion.
I guess I'm lucky because I've always been a voice first sort of person, as long as the model isn't hideous or hitting one of my pet peeves, I'm always going to focus on the voice (and personality obv)
