>>9598930>>9636138As a yukimin I've had a rrat that Lamy has some Northern Europe ancestry for some time now. I don't have much to go on, really, but that's still an entertaining thought. My points are:
- Lamy's abnormal (for Japan) alcohol tolerance. Look at Matsuri going absolutely shitfaced from one drink or JP salarymen passing out in the streets from drinking nothing but beer. Even Aki with her wild younger days admitted to passing out in a metro station once. Lamy even mentioned that she's the weakest to alcohol in her family, which supports my rrat.
- Her neluce instrument is definitely something from Northern regions. Kantele was the most popular version, I listened to kantele performances afterwards and it sounds somewhat similar. There are also a lot of similarly sounding string instruments in Northern regions of my country
Russia. Is it weird for a Japanese to have something like that? Probably.
- This will sound retarded but Lamy's singing voice sounds a bit... not Japanese. I don't have any music education but I've always been interested in singing a lot, even when I started watching anime as a kid I noticed the difference in JP singing voice timbre and timbres we are used to. I've seen a fuckton of JP chuubas who didn't get vocal training and sang to the best of their ability, just like Lamy until recently. She sounds a bit different from all of them.
I would even say that the way she modulates her voice sounds Russian sometimes, but it's just schizo wishful thinking, because it would be pretty based if my oshi had ancestors from my country, right?- Their lore isn't always completely made up from thin air so maybe the whole thing about Lamy being a snow elf who traveled away from her homeland, hating cold weather has at least a grain of truth to it.
All of that being said, if my rrat is true it's probably somewhere in Scandinavia.
