Before he got into straight up reaction content, before the whole animated avatar arc, dude used to do anime reviews and portrayed himself as some sort of chaotic figure who wouldn't take shit from other people.
His whole motto was "be wholesome to wholesome people and toxic to toxic people".
And he was quite unapologetic in shitting on people who he felt "wronged" him at the time.
Obviously a ton of younger weeb kids got attracted to that persona and followed him for a while.
The VShojo arc basically CRATERED that part of his audience, because when he was attacked by VShojo (who his audience also liked) there was some amount of concern, but he came out with evidence that he basically was in communication with them the whole time.
What HIS audience expected was WAR.
VShojo had wronged him, and by his own motto, mantra, whatever, it was time to take up the battle cry and shit on VShojo for eternity and forevermore.
And well... the man basically pussied out of that fight and ran with his tail between his legs.
At least that's the vibe his response gave off to his young fans.
Naturally a ton of them stopped watching him and some among them have turned into straight up antis and spare no expense in shitting on him for almost everything he does these days. Rightfully so in some cases, since he became ultra desperate after his mask cracked.
