There's too much nay-saying and misunderstanding of entertainment culture. I remember in college having DC/Marvel discussions with friends (back when I could afford that paper addiction).
I was a Marvel fan, but my preference didn't set back DC, and the people who bought DC didn't set back Marvel. Some of us would go on about the newest shit being printed by Marvel at our DC friends, my DC friends would sperg about their shit to us.
That's like saying "If you like Weird Al, you can't Like NPH's comedy music" or "if you like chocolate, you can't like strawberries"; you just sound like a retard.
