All Holos are aware that male collabs are poison and there are very few exceptions to this rule. The Holo audience is not the same as the Niji audience. There are different expectations and the fans have different tolerance levels.
Knowing this, it's safe to assume that anyone in Hololive still willing to go through with a male vtuber collab simply does not give a shit about the status quo or they're taking a gamble that their plan will work out. Bae is an example of the former(she has done this enough times and over a long enough period of time that she is fully aware) while Ririka is an example of the latter(she called it that her unicorns would come crawling back to her as soon as she did ASMR again.)
