I miss the more simple, iconic styles that VTubers used to have. Every new gen, the designs just gets more and more complicated or has colors thrown together for no real reason. Who asks for this? Why is there so much shit thrown together on modern VTuber designs? Gura and Korone's designs are some of my favorites because they lean on simple clothes and colors that goes well together. Nothing too complicated, and it's pleasant to look at.
Does anyone else feel this way? We should just go back to simplifying designs. I know that it's probably because it's getting harder and harder to make simple designs due to the fear of resembling other VTubers but I can't say I enjoy seeing like... 43 arm and leg accessories on the same character.
Picrel contains my favorite VTuber designs. Sorry that it's just Hololive, I don't really watch others much but you're free to include some designs you like from indies or other corpos.
Also asymmetry is also pretty prevalent in VTuber designs but it's not that bad of a thing tbdesu.
