Doing streams in two languages is a debuff, esp for JP. JP fans will just choose another oshi where they understand every stream. It's why Chloe never did EN streams despite speaking very good english.
Funnily enough they brought out EN streams for Kanade after pretty much exactly 6 months and she was struggling; now that she found a JP audience she won't do it again.

Ririka has Japanese English education (so her fundamentals like pronounciation are retarded) but actually learned English through osmosis whilst living abroad.

streaming multiple languages is a major debuff in nearly all cases. Look at how badly it affected Coco, Kiara, Fuwamoco, the entirety of HoloID, etc.
The only one who's ever managed to make it work to any extent was Pikamee/Henya. And they just seem to be an exception.

Yeah thats like me. I can pronounce any Spanish word after 5 years of study in high school and college, and know most if them by sight. Can't conjugate for shit and can't speak it conversationally because I never had any need to use it in real life beyond occasionally ordering at restaurants.

Depends how old you are as well as how long you are abroad. But in general Japanese native speakers that initially learn katakana English have trouble picking up the different sounds.

No she doesn't. Her pronunciation isn't Jap level retarded but she can't keep up for a stream. I'm always stunned at the completely dogshit standards for these JP girls speaking english. Multiple EN girls can hold full conversations in Japanese but these retards string together two sentences and you clap.

Coco and Fuwamoco didn't get debuffed by streaming in multiple languages. It could be argued that Coco speaking good english was a massive buff to her especially during that time where english speaking vtubers weren't that common. Fuwamoco were able to pull in a decent sized JP audience in addition to their original EN fans. Kiara isn't popular for reasons that don't have anything to do with her being a multilingual streamer.

Yes but for most of them it sounds as stilted and awkward as the JPs speaking English do to us. More than a few of the JP girls can actually carry a conversation well enough in English so long as their EN partners don't go fully eloquent lexicon on their asses.
