>>96377849Anon these "obvious schizos" were allowed a free hand for a year because no one from the company or talent side in EN spoke out against them, all the while they were increasingly featured in collabs with "hololive", trying to blur the boundary.
Advent being ardently anti homo, the 2022 begging arc, el silencio etc. were what changed public perception of beggars from "fans who just want to see their favorite oshis interact!" to "disgusting creatures making my oshi uncomfortable".
The thing with Fauna was far worse, because she kinda sorta vagueposted that she had some issues with management but never really elaborated on the WHY or the WHAT.
And seeing the reactions of the EN girls, it was obviously the first time THEY were hearing all this.
Kaela's reaction is a good example of how most EN girls treated it.
She asked Fauna what her plans were.
Fauna explained, Kaela basically realized she was going indie, and didn't bother stopping her.
Hololive's entire ecosystem is about the tight bonds between the girls, how they want all of them to stay together.
Coco being the best example, where literally every single holo girl was holding on to her sleeve to try and stop her, and she basically had to say "please don't make me come to hate you" in order to have them let her go.
This was the same for Aqua as well, tons of talk with Startend and her other friends about the decision, them trying to convince her to stay for a while, before it became clear that leaving was her only choice. And even after the announcement you had Pekora basically being the voice of the audience and trying to ask her to stay at every turn.
Chloe was less well connected, but her genmate Koyo tried to talk her out of it, and the other HoloX girls also had talks with her about the decision.
EN graduations are always more painful for the audience, because none of this dynamic between the girls happens due to the girls being so far away from each other.
Ina had talks with Sana before her decision iirc, but then they were already good friends pre-holo, and I can't recall anyone else in EN talking on stream about discussing this with her or trying to convince her to stay.
And - as much as the homos are not part of hololive - it is reality that the 2 retards who left actually HAD a collab group going with 2 of the girls, and they basically got memoryholed by those girls right afterwards.
We just assume it's because of some behind the scenes shit because we have this (well-deserved) hatred of the homos, but if you pull your mind back a little bit and look from a streamwatcher's PoV, you'll understand that having half of a beloved collab group leave, and having the other half just.. cut them off like that?
It's not really good for the "vibes" of the group y'know (once again, not endorsing homos as "part of the group", just trying to put some perspective here that the "group" as the audience saw at the time, included homos as well, due to the spate of homocollabs that happened in 2022-23).
And then of course, after all of that, comes Fauna. She had no talks with anyone, no discussions, nothing at all, and just unilaterally made the call to leave, with the environment being anti-corpo due to niji, other beloved talents like Aqua and Ame leaving, and Chloe having announced her own graduations merely HOURS ago.
And other than Kaela asking about her plans (after she announced it publicly), it doesn't seem like anyone else in EN even bothered trying to stop Fauna from leaving.
This is probably why the EN fanbase feels more schizo than the JP one, where they hear every other day about some of the girls meeting at the studio and going キャキャ at each other, so when someone actually ends up leaving we know it was after a lot of thought, that it was not an easy decision to make, and that all the other girls would have tried to stop them.
So there's none of that same frustration EN fans feel, and the only thing left to do is to send them off with a smile.
