Nene was fairly under clipped, and didn't like her design because I'm a self hating chink, so I didn't pay her any mind. some time passes, EN comes out, more clips of gen 5 get translated and I end up becoming a clown fetishist, and for some reason developed a disdain towards Nene during the Among us stream because she wasn't Polka (in hind sight it was pretty stupid).
Anyway, some time passes, watching Polka clips, stumble upon some golden Nene x Polka clips, discover that Nene is actually really REALLY funny if you give her a chance, finally get around to watching O'riends collab with Kiara since I'm a KFP fag, discover that Nene is also a pretty good singer and can also be really cute if you give her the chance, and then bam, suddenly Nene is my second favorite Holo.
In hindsight, her old costume was cuter, but I'm glad the new ones getting her exposure
