Nothing immoral or illegal, mind you; she's a good person and nobody has ever suggested otherwise. She made an honest mistake, but the mistake she did was of the "immediate termination, no second chances" variety.
The general consensus (which is a unanimous consensus if you exclude some /here/ shitposters) is that she's a good person who made a mistake, but absolutely 100% deserved to get fired on the spot for that mistake. Even Mel/Rica herself agrees with that consensus. Her mistake was the agency vtuber career equivalent of CFIT - a mistake which, due to its nature, is a mistake no one person is ever able to make twice.
