Honestly I don't think going affiliate is worth it for 99% of streamers. I average around 10 viewers and I can almost guarantee you that if I had forced ads some of them would stop watching at least live and I'd get far fewer new people dropping by and watching long enough to give me a follow.

sad thing is this is likly just a path for them to force ads on more people, because by default at least i think until you hit affiliate and signed up you never got ads on your channel, once you sing up your forced to play them at select intervals based on the length of ads.

I think anyone who doesn't have at least 20 viewers on average is an idiot for going affiliate. The only way it can work is if you have a rich and very loyal viewer who will gift subs to the others or if you gift them yourself.
