If your line of thought falls into the former, that's not so bad. Wanting to be with someone you find to be likeable isn't abnormal, but if you actually are considering moving to Canada just for that—take a break.
Throwing away your current life for something like that is not worth it, at most take Filian as an inspiration to visit and travel across Canada. There are quite a few cool places to see there.
