Hololive will never be truly mainstream beyond some short term sponsorships or indie games.

Sure, suisei and pekomiko can do tv spots for some popular commercial brand, fill medium sized arena concerts but they will never get a anime, they will never be in the tokyo dome.
Even if they have the popularity for those things, long term big money projects are not something you can do when the talent can just quit midway killing the character.

Hololive mainstream potential died with aqua graduation.
