Even if you ignore MANY fuckups on Niji's part outside of EN, their reputation has started declining way before that and in a more gradual fashion. You can trace it all the way back to 2022. 2023 is where it entered freefall, 2024 basically finished it off.
Whoever handled Kizuna probably fits the bill more.
