It's not that she doesn't trust her friends, it's that the people she hangs around are noticeable . Just take advent, 2 twins, a child, a white woman in japan --> the fifth girl in their group, the one cosplaying, is Shiori.
Maybe she's just paranoid, maybe she's has an online presence on an alt, but she for sure does not want people to know where she is.
Like, we know she met kirin yui only because Kirin posted a picture without even mentioning her name. We still don't know if all the ghost posting was her being with Mint or someone else. We still don't know who the og was.
Also, I mentioned the hologra thing already. The other girls got a bunch of girls they like, like Kiara for Nerissa and Koyori for fwmc.
But what about AZKi? does Shiori like her but she never talked about her, or she was just there and they needed someone so they grabbed her? if the second option is true, why did Shiori have so many people instead of 3-4 like the other girls?
Though, as I am writing this I am getting a schizo thought. What if all the secrecy is on purpose just as a game? maybe Shiori wants to collect evidence and reach a conclusion without spelling it out.
