You have a center right wing party that are the democrats who virtue signal about social issues, but give more economic power to corporations. And a fringe right wing party that are the republicans who just want to go straight to the end game of conservatism with authoritarianism and make America a Russian-lite oligarchy.
Our last off ramp was Bernie, but every one of Bernie's runs got destroyed by the corporate powers that control the Democrats.
And that doesn't even get into how AIPAC systematically exterminated a good portion of the congressmen who wanted to return the democratic party to it's more liberal roots because they didn't back Israeli's war crimes.
And they're someone less evil than the Republicans, who have now reached the phase of just rejecting democracy if they lose, to show how fucked the entire system is.
