People mistakenly think the relationship between humans and dogs is one-sided but it's a lot more symbiotic which is why so many people are bad dog owners because they don't understand the dog's demands and needs
how do you think early humans even domesticated them in the first place? Obviously they didn't just subdue them by force and tell them what to do or something
unlike cats however, the reason why dogs are so compliant most of the time is because they actually *like* their owners and feel emotions towards them but that's only if the owner makes them happy
cats will just do whatever regardless because they are incapable of emotions and expectations like dogs are
