>>97469310Not really much point going through them all, but
>That doesn't mean she likes them and genuinely wants them around. You can say this about all of her fans, though. Honestly, "she doesn't like any of her fans" as a position makes far more sense than just disliking gachikoi
>Then what's the problem with others encouraging her to do things that would make them leave?Because she doesn't commit to anything long-term enough. It's this constant wishy-washy behaviour that keeps fans in limbo
>If someone fucks up and reveals that they were a shit person all along, then the correct move would be "throw out" the old fanbase who liked them because of who they thought they were instead of trying to patch things up and cover up the truth.By throw out, I mean the manner that she just goes ahead with things without actually discussing things with her fans. If you want to change your content, you have to be clear and calm. Nearly every "attempt" to change her content comes across as either impulsive or spiteful. There's a huge difference between that and how you should actually treat your fans, even if you want to go ahead and act in a way that you know will cause them to leave
>Are you reading this as me saying "FREEDOM FOR ALL VTUBERS!!! YOU SHOULD FUCK OVER YOUR FANS AT ANY POINT YOU WANT!!!"?Not you, but this is unironically the Taiwanese position
>And that means she can't do it right now?By this, what I mean is that she has consistently failed to actually act in a decent way. I suppose she's basically given some gachikoi false hope due to her antics
>The best time to drop it was the moment she got firedNo, the best time to drop it was the moment she went on a date with Mafu in 2021. The second best time was after being fired.
>And continues to.I agree
>If any vtuber is found out to be a fraud they should "drop fans" the moment that happens.Again, there's a difference between a serious change in activity that's done with timing, planning and care, to inform fans and then move consistently in one direction, and then what she does, which is drop her fans on a whim and then complain when they're gone.
Surely you can see the difference here? There's a huge difference in a formal statement explaining your thoughts and what Mike does, which is dropping a bombshell on her fans and then attacking them when they're shocked
>Your perspective almost sounds like the anti-GFE one where the vtuber is being held at gunpoint by the fans to do what they want her to do, instead of fans being there because they like what the specific vtuber is all about. My perspective is that if you've spent years cultivating a certain audience, you owe something to to them. If you actually want to move on to a different style of content that they hate, you have to be understanding of how they'll react to this, especially the ones who have invested years and a lot of time into them. And if you are moving on, you don't have a right to complain endlessly about fans leaving, which is what she does
At the end of the day, if you have to take home anything from what I say: the most important aspect of being a Vtuber is open communication with your fans and treating them well. If you fail both of these consistently, you don't deserve to have a career. And Mikeneko does indeed fail at these consistently.
