...At least that's how I did it. If Pekora DOES capture it with a Poké ball then I'm very interested in seeing what she does with it (as well as what moves she'll teach it) and that I hope chat tells her about its 4x weakness to ice so she can avoid using it on Glacia and 2 of Wallace's pokemons that have an ice move.
