/vt/ is a little more unique because anons on this board have zero understanding about the importance of gatekeeping and if you're not in a Holo thread chances are the mods don't care about that either. Some threads I like are /tactical/ and the Lia general because they're pretty chill but still active enough. /BIG/ is fine I guess, but it's way too fucking slow considering there are like 30 people on topic and it feels too dead minus the ISEGYE and Laimu posters.
My guess is the people who initially started /BIG/ decided they'd rather argue with schizos and /wasp/s in /lig/ where it's active than just talk about a /BIG/ vtuber in a place where it's dead.
