Every two years VShojo members get a chance to renew their contracts. Since VShojo members own their own IPs they have a decent amount of leverage over the company since they can always leave and become an indie again. This is especially true for Zen since she's the second biggest member. Zen's done a number of things recently such as remained popular while mostly collabing with indies, asked her audience if they would still follow her if she left VShojo in the future, backed out of a GFuel deal that most of the members are a part of, and recently removed VShojo from her Twitter name. Some suspect that these are all negotiation tactics to get better terms on her contract, and by re-adding VShojo to her twitter name it means the negotiations went well. Late April will be when we truly know if this is the case though.
