>>9764734>legal issues, company guidelines/rules, permissions and official contentThis could all be handled by one person, aside from official content.
What exactly is "official content" other than avatars and live2D, bgm, etc... the stuff that gets made once?
>written contracts detailing their talents ability to stream, have vods of and monetize both forms of contentSolved with boilerplate legal document with blanks:
_______ game to be streamed
_______ allow monetizing live stream
_______ allow monetizing vods
_______ allow in perpetuity, or allow until _______ date, whichever comes first
>Rockstar doesn't let the girls monetize, Nintendo has strict timeframes that permission is givenSo those are solved and should only require boilerplate copypasta legal docs now, with the occasional twice yearly renegotiations for better terms.
>music played in gamesYeah, that is a longer list of emails that need to be sent with a different copypasta. Not that hard to write a program to fill in the blanks though.
>Its never as simple as an email.Paid to schmooze. I guess it keeps holos from having to do that, which is nice.
>merchandise creation, sales and related contracts, sponsorship negotiation and contracting, use of their facilities and staff for special streams, concert negotiation, music production negotiation, promotional activities like as the Atre stuffHow much of this has actually been done, for EN specifically?
Merch: dakimakuras, nintendoroid, clothes, mugs? Some of which can literally be pasted into a website on demand.
Sales: Upload your EP to the itunes store, Amazon, etc. There are plenty of DIY publishers. Sales issues/returns can be handled by a dedicated portal such as spreadshirt.
Sponsorship: This is pretty nice, there is that Taco Bell sponsorship and I'm sure there have been others that I can't remember right now.
Use of their facilities: Not really relevant for EN yet. It would be nice though. But what exactly is the facility? A few VR mocap sets and an empty warehouse studio? Literally drive out to a barn in the country and buy some VR sets. Not a huge cost.
Concert negotiation: How often? That's another few emails, just pay someone a few bucks to write some for you. Not a huge expense either.
Music production negotiation: debatable, Mori knew kokorobeats beforehand and they would have easily come to an agreement. But it's nice to have connections, I guess. It's easier to make connections when you're popular though.
Promos: Yeah this is decent. Well, Hololive was at least smart enough and well known enough that EN's debuts went well. Though I kinda question their decision / timing on IRyS's debut. She's EN gen 1.5? And thus she isn't included in either group's official collabs. It's always Myth/Council +IRyS!1!1 I feel bad for her. Well, at least her subs are growing similarly to other ENs.
VTuber software: Plenty indies get this taken care of, and I daresay these two EN groups had enough experience and intelligence to fill in any gaps, if there were any. Uh, learn OBS for a week and copy someone's setup?
Personal managers: Probably the best cost to benefit of all of these.
Other than the auditions themselves, most of these categories could be firing on 4 cylinders instead of half of one. Is 3D really too much to ask for? They've been asking for 3D since literally their debut streams. It's not a new technology. I don't hate Cover but they could be doing more. New outfits are nice but they absolutely do NOT cost as much time or money as it might seem, with how slow they are to roll out.
