I do not watch streams and I do not superchat. I buy the occasional merch here and there but I am not wholly dedicated to one vtuber. I can't say that I am a fan of vtubing because I don't watch them. I am only interested in the porn and commissioning porn, because despite the variety of content these women provide, they are incredibly attractive and Cover knows what they're doing. You bet your bottom dollar the girls do too, in some capacity. It is my personal belief that if you go into vtubing, corpo or otherwise, you are signing up to be parasocial in some capacity. Vtubing is inherently parasocial and anyone who thinks otherwise is a fucking moron. It's a costume on/costume off hobby, think Clark Kent and Superman. I don't want Clark Kent merch, I want Superman merch and so on and so forth. If I see Superman with Batman, I'm going to respect it but not look into it because I want Superman, not Batman. Shiori, like many other vtubers, are allowed to do whatever they want and collab with whoever they please. However, if this is the way that Shiori wants to react to the news of something that stirred so much shit, then that's on her and whatever comes her way is absolutely justified. It happened with Kronii, who had merch sales tank after her holostar collabs and that little announcement she did. I want to say it also happened with Mori, but she is currently the strongest EN vtuber right now so she can get away with it. What I'm trying to say is I want the Superman movie to be kino.
