>>97897727Now let's postulate here: there are 3 arcs currently to this girl.
1Debut Arc: Playing the "goth GF" character, "I can fix her", tries poorly to be GFE while just doing that "what the fuck is she talking about" thing. This ends after like 3-4 months at most, leading into
2, Shioriface Arc: Her longest arc. She pretty much dropped the whole kissy goth girl routine and just reverted into being a weird dark Ame who was way more open about her yumefujo tendencies and just fucked around in 3D VR. Things are relatively stable here, we go from around November/December last year to now through here.
Now I'm not a huge Shiori watcher, but did anything change from the last 2-3 months to now? Some rrat peddlers said stuff like she was pregnant, maybe some credence to her lack of showing at Fes, but that'd probably be showing with an extended break coming up in the next 1-2 months. This would also somewhat contradict if she had a partner - would you want your GF who makes good money being a ditzy retard online to openly do male collabs, rocking the boat and potentially even reducing income?
Basically, with my limited evidence, I can't deduce a solid conclusion here. There doesn't seem to be any lead up to this collab, nor evidence of anything that significantly changed up until now with her to suggest that she was unhappy with her fans, her content, etcetera. She's not like Mori or some other JP girls who've collabed for music and such, and she's yet to act like she needs to bring in homos to expand her audience or whatever.
Maybe she's just been bottling up this mental illness since debut, which is sad, because I thought despite her weirdness she was very well put together.
tl;dr I can't figure out her motivation and don't watch her enough to speculate why.
