It's bad enough already we have thousands of people participating in parasocial relationships and even giving these people money, giving them money! But at least those people are real. These people don't even exist, they're just playing a character. With regular streamers at least with a parasocial relationship you could half pretend that they're your friend...vtubers are honestly like something out of a black mirror episode. They're just so uncanny and fake. Their high pitched anime girl voices are cringy as fuck. Everything about them is so fake it makes me sick to my stomach. Its disgusting.
