>>98047590Lol, I was going to say that ultimately the worst thing she did was basically start a civil war in her fandom that no one really wanted. She should have known this would happen and that outsiders would also jump in to cause drama and cause the war to get worse.
I think she shouldn’t have deleted people voicing their concerns in an attempt to shut down the drama as I don’t think it really works well but, once again, this is not a strategy she came up herself. We all know Shiori is a meticulous planner so likely this was the strategy she came up with after talking to S-Team, Henma, and likely the other girls as well, or at the very least Nerissa which is why she was spamming shioraven art when all of this was going down and tweeted that she loved Shiori lol. I think the fact that this week is filled with collabs with biboo, Gigi, and Cecilia also shows that likely they knew what was going to go down. Of note Gigi and Cecilia has collabed with males or interacted heavily with male vtubers in their RMs before.
This move was probably the most problematic move in my opinion, more so than the hiding of the collab until the last minute but being heavy handed sometimes works.
I’m still going to watch Shiori, specifically her solo content or collabs with the other girls as Shiori is still Shiori. If you want, you can just think of this male collab stuff as a shitty business move and when it doesn’t work out and it hurts her pockets to the point where she can’t take it anymore she’ll likely abandon it.
Historically this happened with Kronii and this happened with Calli. And I would say this even happened with Ame (she never collabed with Altare ever again even though he’s still in the company)
And I would say all three of them are a lot more pigheaded than Shiori is lol
