Asking your fans to be patient while you get your back blown out and ignore them for months only to come back and say "you are my home" while not meaning a single word of it is grifting. Not practicing singing or dancing and not even bothering to show up at major events or concerts because you don't want to travel is grifting. Mentioning you have a doctor's appointment because you want your fans to think you might be chronically ill so you don't have to outright lie and so when you ignore them, they won't ask questions - that is grifting.
Putting in effort, trying to do stuff that you think your fans will enjoy, participating in events and collabs, spending time with your fans, making things that you enjoy and want to share with your fans that you care about, talking to your fans about your life, spending holidays with your fans - none of that is grifting. It's called being an idol and caring about the people you say you care about.
That is the difference between Gura and real idols.

The thing I don't understand the most about you though, is that you seem to be too stupid to understand that Gura makes hundreds of thousands of dollars per year basically doing nothing. She wants that passive income and it's so large, that she doesn't feel any need to exert more effort. She is satisfied with the giant sack of cash she gets each month and that makes her a greedy lying lazy whore. She is the opposite of an idol. If you want to compare her to a JP member, she is basically blue Ayame.
