The model is expressive, and rodent like which is good since hamster vtuber. I'm going to be honest this is a pretty comfy stream. Reminds me of old twitch because nowadays stream overlay is often a lot less forward and the game is sort of a throwback so overall a lot of fun. I'm glad to tune in for something like this. If it's a game stream - focus should be on the game. Not 20 moving flashy *JINGLE JINGLE JINGLE* parts scattered across the screen. This is one of the things I don't like about vtubing. It's how their overlay is always in the way and their model takes 20-50% of the screen.
Yesterday I found this streamer and this is amazing. A blend of classic webcam window with vtuber model.

You also don't want to spam jokes non-stop. It's always obvious and awkward when streamer tries so hard to be funny. There is a reason why stand-up comedy open mics are usually 5 minutes long at max.
What is your baseline of humor? Do you want to pump out one banger joke every stream? What are you basing potential stream funny levels on? If it's some funny compilation on youtube - then sure, you will never have that.
All I can recommend is maybe having a scripted joke every now and then.
And maybe watching people you are basing your expectations on. Yeah someone like Northernlion can be pretty funny but nobody is like that 24/7. He is well spoken and I think it's more important than trying to be a funny clown. A lot of the times chat throws the ball and he bounces off of it. As a small streamer you may not have that privilege.
If you thought every stream will be like a 1-2 hour long stand-up comedy show, alongside playing a game - maybe lower your expectations.
Comedy is an art form and just like everything else it requires a lot of practice.

It's off-putting because
1. Having to fight with some random for your attention is annoying and if you have a particularly parasocial fanbase, they may feel threatened or unworthy.
2. There's way less attention on chat in general
3. I feel more restricted in what I am able to chat to you about and the things you'll respond to because there's a 3rd party
4. Your random stranger is your friend and that dynamic is great and all, but expecting your chat to somehow understand what is potentially years or decades worth of built up friendship is very difficult. Especially that your friend is a non-streamer, they more than likely won't understand or be motivated to play the part of entertainer.
Overall it degrades the entire live interactivity of streams in general which is a critical part of their appeal.

If you wanna be a good comedian you need to test a thousand jokes a hundred times so to speak, and through process of elimination have only the handful that works.
Also, something that you learn from stand-up: introduce a way to signal people where the joke ends if you arent one of those clever guys who can always leave their "joke" in an open end. Laugh, use the funny/charismatic tone, something to signal that your ounchline arrived.
